Is my vehicle equipped with a direct tire pressure monitoring system?

A TPM system can be identified by a TPMS warning symbol on the vehicle dashboard. The warning symbol illuminates when the ignition is turned to the "on" position. If you do not see a TPMS warning light, you can have a technician perform the "learn and test" procedure with a properly formatted TPMS tool. All vehicles manufactured for the North American market after September 2007 must be factory equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

You can also check the vehicles owner manual for information regarding a factory installed tire pressure monitoring system.

A TPMS warning symbol (!) appears on the vehicle dashboard.
