2012 Maserati Vehicles Recalled Due to TPMS Issues

A total of 458 2012 Maserati Quattroporte, Granturismo, GranCabrio, and Granturismo MC vehicles have been recalled due to tire pressure monitoring system issues.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the tire pressure monitoring system may malfunction due to a software error. This TPMS malfunction may prevent the driver from being informed of low tire pressure in one or more tires. Driving on low tire pressure can greatly reduce handling, traction, steering, stability, and braking, thus putting the driver and those around him in danger.

If your 2012 Maserati vehicle is being affected by this TPMS malfunction, contact your local Maserati dealer immediately to schedule an appointment to have the TPMS control unit replaced.
