Schrader To Open TPMS Plant Extension on May 1

Schrader, a global leader in TPMS technology and service solutions, has announced that it will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 1 to celebrate the expansion of its Springfield, Tennessee TPMS manufacturing plant.

The $10 million invested into the new manufacturing line is a direct result of exponential TPMS growth in the domestic market. This growth is influenced by a number of factors including: increased demand for TPMS service and repair, an increase in vehicle sales among Ford, GM, and Chrysler, and an overall increase in the demand for TPMS in the aftermarket.

With the expansion, TPMS production capability is expected to increase by 8 million units. Also, 76 new manufacturing jobs will be created as the facility, with about 100 more to be added by next year.
