2013 Global Tire Expo Scheduled for November 5-8

The Global Tire Expo (GTE) - Powered by TIA, is scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 5 - November 8. Tire pressure monitoring systems, field repairs, the federal health care bill, and the secrets of successful tire retailing are among the subjects of several education sessions to be held during the 2013 GTE. 

Tuesday, November 5 - TPMS Presentation "Understanding and Managing the Risks of Servicing TPMS" 
Representatives of the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and 14 major TPMS manufacturers/suppliers will discuss the latest in TPMS technology and innovations and how it relates to the everyday operations of tire dealers and service bays across the globe. 

Wednesday, November 6 (morning session) - "TPMS Troubleshooting" and "Monitoring Tire Pressure on Trucks"
Sean MacKinnon, TIA director of automotive training development, and Mat White, TIA director of automotive tire service will host the morning education session. 

Wednesday, November 6 (afternoon session) - "Understanding Tire Buyers in the Information Age"
This afternoon education session aims to update attendees on the status of the new tire labeling and TPMS regulations. Great insight into the decision making process will be available for tire buyers in attendance.
