Mercedes Benz TPMS Relearn Procedures - VDO SE58002

When new tire pressure sensors are installed, they must be registered to the vehicle.

1) Switch on the ignition

2) Press button or on the multifunction steering wheel until the standard display menu appears in the multifunction display.

3) Press button or repeatedly until the following message appeared in the multifunction display:

Tire Pressure Monitoring Active
Menu: R - Button

4) Press the reset button. The following message will appear in the multifunction display:

Restart tire pressure monitor?

5) If you wish to confirm. Press button

Tire pressure monitor restarted

After driving for a few minutes, the system verifies that the current tire inflation pressures are within the system's specified range. Afterwards, the current tire inflation pressures are accepted as reference values and then monitored.
